Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of Thailand visited the Sage campuses on May 21-22, 2009. "We are very grateful to Her Royal Highness for making time to visit Sage," said President Susan Scrimshaw, a family friend of the Thai Royal Family. "We look forward to long partnerships between our communities and our educational institutions in both countries."

Sage College of Albany student Amber Winslow welcomed Her Royal Highness to the Albany campus. Congressman Paul Tonko, Assemblyman Jack McEneny, and Rensselaer County Executive Kathy Jimino attended the luncheon, as well as members of the Sage Board of Trustees and Cabinet, Dean Kevin Stoner, and Sage faculty members. Special guest Emshika Alberini, a 2005 Sage Graduate School graduate and native of Thailand, and her family were honored to meet their nation's princess at Sage. |
