You will gain a comprehensive science background with an understanding of diagnostic laboratory techniques and their applications in patient care. You will receive hands-on training in hospital laboratories, research facilities, industrial laboratories and physicians' offices.
You will also be well-qualified for positions in FBI forensic laboratories, research facilities, and biotechnology industries located in New York's Tech Valley or elsewhere in the USA!
Dr. Kutz coordinates the Clinical Biology program.
She is a molecular biologist with expertise in wound repair mechanisms.
In the cytotechnology track you will complete your 4th year at Albany College of Pharmacy (ACP), and in the clinical laboratory science track you will complete your 3rd and 4th years at ACP. You will receive a BS degree from SCA and certification through ACP that will allow you to take the national registry examination and qualify for jobs.
