School of Education

Students

Our mission is to to prepare highly effective leaders, educators, teachers, school counselors, and clinicians who support, encourage, and create learning environments that meet the learning needs of all students, who strive to include students with disabilities with all necessary supports, who value diversity, who are reflective, and who are knowledgeable about best practices..

NCATE LogoThe School of Education offers a variety of programs that are accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), first in 2001 and more recently in 2007. Such accreditation is a formal recognition of the high quality and standards of preparation future teachers receive here at Sage.
