Quick Facts

  • ABA Certificate applicants should visit the BACB website to apply for degree approval.  Students must have a master's degree in a related field, and this approval must come from the BACB.  Sage cannot make any exceptions.  Sage is not responsible for seeking this approval, and Sage is not responsible for non-compliance.   Students who complete the ABA Certificate program without an approved master's degree may not be eligible to sit for the BCBA exam.
  • The ABA Certificate program is a lock-step program. This means that accepted students must register for classes in the exact order it has been laid out on their Program of Study.
  • Students will have a practicum or non-practicum track option.
  • To participate in the academic coursework, the candidate must meet all Technology Requirements.

Applicants for admission to the Applied Behavior Analysis Certificate program must meet the Sage Graduate School and Center for Applied Behavior Analysis admission requirements:

  • Official transcripts of ALL previous undergraduate and graduate study;
  • International students must submit a WES report if previous degrees were obtained outside of the United States. This requirement is in addition to official transcripts.
  • Students who received a degree in a non-English speaking country may be required to submit TOEFL scores.
