Dean Esther Haskvitz and professors Neeti Pathare and Mariane Selleck receive Robert Salant Research Award

Neeti Pathare, assistant professor of physical therapy, together with Esther M. Haskvitz, dean of the School of Health Sciences and Marjane Selleck, associate professor of physical therapy, presented their research, “Measures of the Muscle Strength, Balance, Gait, Cardiovascular Fitness and Physical Activity in Relation to Weight Status in 5-9 Year Old Children: A Pilot Study” at the 2011 New York Physical Therapy Association conference. The study was one of the recipients of the Robert Salant Research Award and was initially funded by the Sage Research Institute and the NYSPTA.
