Professor Leibo will be holding a series of talks on global warming, based on what he learned as a participant in former Vice President Al Gore's Climate Project seminar in Nashville, Tenn. in January 2007.

Professor Schechter has been awarded $4,709,224 by the U.S. Department of Education to administer a program that will help prepare young people in the United States and Russia to be more effective and responsible citizens.

Every year our department sponsors two lecture series, the Annual Sherman David Spector lecture and the regular Armenian Studies presentation.
