Psi Chi National Psychology Honor Society
Psi Chi is the National Honor Society in Psychology, founded in 1929 for the purposes of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship, and advancing the science of psychology. Psi Chi at The Sage Colleges was chartered on May 11, 1972 as the 311th chapter. Students who meet the class standing and GPA requirements are encouraged to apply for membership. There is a formal initiation ceremony annually.
Benefits of membership include recognition of academic standing in psychology, professional affiliation, and a quarterly newsletter. Psi Chi works closely with the Psychology Club to provide opportunities beyond the walls of the classroom that offer enrichment both personally and professionally.
