Vice President, Finance, Chobani

In addition to expertise in finance, accounting, sales, and information systems, business leaders should be able to help others -- whether clients or colleagues -- see another perspective, make difficult decisions and embrace change, said John Bellardini, vice president of finance at Chobani, Inc — maker of America’s #1 selling yogurt brand, Chobani Greek Yogurt. “That’s what Sage prepared me for. There was a touch of heart, a sensibility that you don’t often get in business school about understanding people,” he said.
A Certified Turnaround Professional, Bellardini was a partner at the Rochester, N.Y., based consulting firm JC Jones & Associates before he joined Chobani in April. At JC Jones, he worked to help struggling businesses return to a profitable and sustainable business model. In 2008, he received the Small Company Turnaround of the Year Award, recognized as the “Oscar” of the turnaround industry, for his work with a steel fabrication, construction and engineering firm in Bath, Penn.
Bellardini has also worked at engineering driven companies including Philips, Dover-Universal Instruments Corporation and Amphenol Aerospace Operations. His experience in a range of industries informs his work on the leadership team at Chobani, where he will help the popular Greek yogurt producer achieve sustainable growth.
