James Cleveland
Assistant Professor of Management
Professor Cleveland received his Masters of Management degree in 1986 after years as a working manager in various organizations. He taught for three years in Michigan before coming to Sage in 1989 to join the Business faculty.
He is known by his students for his sense of humor and interactive classroom style as well as his ability to explain complicated material in simple, down-to-earth ways that are easy to understand.
He brings to his classes a wealth of practical experience and real-world examples and encourages students to apply their learning to their own lives to see how business really works. He believes that if you are not having fun, you are not learning.
