Kimberly Fredericks
Kimberly A. Fredericks, Ph.D. is an assistant professor and coordinator of the Graduate Health Services Administration program at the Sage Colleges. Her work focuses on social network analysis and evaluation within the public and nonprofit sectors. She has been a consultant for many entities including Agency for Healthcare Quality and Research, Center for Creative Leadership, and Missouri Institute of Mental Health. Her work has appeared in New Directions for Evaluation and the American Journal of Evaluation.

This is a National Program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, in collaboration with the Center for Creative Leadership. For this project, we are investigating the collective ability of regional leadership to successfully work together and become leaders in their respect communities and fields.
- Program Evaluation Practice among Indiana Nonprofits (with J. Carman)
For this project, nonprofit leaders in Indiana were surveyed regarding current evaluation practice. They were asked to identify the resources and supports that they need, as well as challenges or barriers that they face. They were also asked quested questions about their attitudes toward program evaluation, and the increasing pressures measure the results of what they do from funders. The next stage of this research project is to conduct follow up interviews with 30 of the 189 survey respondents.
- WIRED: The Piedmont Triad Partnership (with The Center for Creative Leadership)
For this project, we are investigating the collective ability of regional leadership to successfully work together on regional economic development issues. Interviews were conducted with 25 local and regional leaders about their relationships with project stakeholders. The next stage of this research project is to conduct a follow up survey with all of the partnership members.
