George LaBoyMy daily activities consisted of making and scheduling recruiting calls, quoting insurance policies, attending enrollments and other meetings, as well as creating application folders for future enrollments. During the Fall semester I was enrolled in Business Strategy.  In this course we reviewed how companies strategize, how the core competencies contribute to the growth of a company, and the importance of a company mission. When I first learned about Aflac’s key attributes, I immediately knew how to interact with others with in the company. This was a well-organized, professional, and ethical company.  If I saw myself working with them one day or even being as successful as the agents in this organization, I must act in accordance with their values.  In Business Strategy we learned that every employee or representative must maintain a good image for the company because one person’s adverse or negligent actions may lead to a negative company image and potentially lose clients and money.  My next goal is to take the insurance licensing exam.

Mr. LaBoy has an entrepreneurial spirit and mindset which is key to achieving great success.  George questions and probes providing a dialogue that resulted in clear information and direction on difficult tasks.  George was tasked with creating a program/contest to motivate the sales force.  He understood how to incentivize through the content message.  As a result, this program was given to our Regional Manager and adopted for company use.  George is an effective communicator and excellent on the phones.  We have asked him to stay on with us next semester.
