My valued experiences actually included the idea that this may not be the route that I want to take in my life right now. Internships really do help to decide whether or not you want to continue on with a career in a certain field. I have had nothing but good experiences during my internship. But with everything that I have learned, I’ve realized that opening my own business doesn’t seem like a plan for me right now. I am young and have a whole life ahead of me; I need more business experience. Much like the owner she, too, did not imagine owning her own business when she graduated from college with her degree in marketing. At some point, this may be an option for me, but for right now this is not what I want to do with my life.
My internship was definitely an experience that opened my eyes up to the real world and how a real small business works. Seeing everything done firsthand was a great opportunity to help me decide what it is I want to do. As a result, I have set up interviews with insurance companies hoping to obtain a full-time position. I will continue to work for Evolution Fitness in a part-time capacity.

Ms. Hodlik was an excellent intern. She has the personality and the drive to take on assignments and complete the work with minimal supervision. I have invited her to remain with Evolution Fitness as a part-time employee after she graduates.
