Each intern participates in a performance evaluation. This includes your site supervisor, your professor and the intern. The purpose is to get feedback on your performance as an intern. My overall evaluation met or exceeded expectations in all areas which included asking my supervisor and other backup supervisors for help when necessary, looking for the correct information by using organizational resources, communicating with taxpayers in a professional manner, being punctual, setting up my time schedule, verifying the caller with the information on the account, tallying calls, and making notes of every call. Overall, I have learned how to communicate with others in the work environment, how to use computer and software efficiently to respond to clients, how to help out taxpayers with information about business startups including appropriate forms or tax information. Doing this job has given me more confidence both personally and in interacting with others.
