Speakers Come to Sage to Share Their Knowledge
As a means of augmenting the course material for MGT248: Women and Wealth, adjunct Professor Bridget Ball Shaw, a professional Financial Advisor, invited several speakers to the Sage Troy campus to share their knowledge and experience with the Sage community:

Loving and Living Together: Financial and Legal Issues for Non-Married Couples presented by Anne Reynolds Copps, J.D. Ms. Copps is the principal attorney in her own law firm. In October 2007 the firm was awarded the Barry A. Gold Law Firm Award Leadership Award as a law firm that has made an important difference in The Legal Project's programs through pro bono participation of its partners and associates.

Health Insurance - Alejandro Taylor, Barry Gold Graduate Clinical Fellow in Health Law, with Albany Law School's Law Clinic and Justice Center lectured on the history of health insurance tracing its development from its infancy to the current state of health insurance debate.

Domestic Violence Awareness by Karla M. Digirolamo, Chief Operating Officer of Unity House, Troy, NY. Ms. Digirolomo was the founding executive director of New York State Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence, the first such statewide agency in the country.
