School of Management Appoints Associate Dean

Albany, NY – Sage is pleased to announce the appointment of Kimberly Fredericks, Ph.D., as associate dean of the School of Management.

Fredericks holds a number of positions at Sage, including associate professor, the School of Management Graduate Programs Chair, director of Health Services Administration and graduate student advisor. Before coming to Sage in 2008, she was an associate professor of political science and public administration at Indiana State University.

"I am grateful for this opportunity and look forward to assisting The Sage Colleges in reaching our goals, while continuing to build the reputation of the School of Management," said Fredericks. "I am also excited about becoming more involved in the operations as Dean Robeson continues his outreach efforts." 

Fredericks received her bachelor’s degree from Russell Sage College, majoring in both Nutrition and Management, and both her master’s and doctoral degrees from Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy at the University at Albany. She is currently the co-principal investigator on a grant that is utilizing social network analysis to evaluate implementation of the recommendations from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Initiative on the Future of Nursing at the Institute of Medicine.
