The Ark

Information

Through a variety of programs which the ARK offers, children and young adults have the opportunity to participate in the creation of their own futures, take a more creative role in their own neighborhood and the life of their city, experience the meaning and value of community service, develop their fullest educational and personal potential and expand that potential as far as they are willing. Located in the Taylor Apartments in Downtown Troy, the ARK offers a place of hospitality and safety where children and young adults can encounter the challenges provided by artistic and educational tools for a richer, fuller life of capability and responsibility, and enjoy a real alternative to hanging out, destructiveness, criminality and chemical dependency. Beyond that, the ARK is a place for discovery, transformation and celebration; a place of developing vision and broadening horizons. http://www.thearkinc.org/
