Introduction:
Tom has three main “loves” in his life: his family; mathematics; and college hockey. He recognizes that attitude and enthusiasm serve as the bedrock of a happy life and successful learning. He has been known to use humor in his teaching to reduce the level of anxiety many feel toward mathematics and to increase interest among participants in the classroom experience. He has been at Sage since 1978.
“ Why is a bad attitude like a flat tire? Because you are going nowhere until you change it”.
