Diane Bossung, PT, LCSW-R
Diane received her bachelors degree in physical therapy from Ithaca College. While providing physical therapy to people with life changing diagnoses in acute care and rehab, she realized a need for a stronger foundation in the psycho-social aspects of care. She completed her Masters in Social Work at the State University of New York in Albany while continuing to provide physical therapy in a psychiatric hospital and home care. Diane initially used her combined degrees to provide physical therapy to people with cancer, chronic pain and stress related illnesses. Later, she shifted her focus to social work and provided case coordination, individual, family and group therapy to children with a variety of serious mental health issues in a day treatment education program.
