Kathy Swanick, PT, DPT, MSEd, OCS

Kathy received her BS in physical therapy and biology from Russell Sage College and her MS degree in Community Health Education and tDPT from Sage Graduate School. Kathy is also a board certified clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy. Kathy is in the dissertation phase of a PhD Program at Capella University with a degree specialization in instructional design for online learning. Prior to joining the core faculty Kathy taught as an adjunct faculty member for 4 years. Her primary teaching responsibilities are presently in the transitional DPT program: which include differential diagnosis, medical imaging and educational strategies. Her research interests include electrotherapy, orthopedics, spinal manipulation, and educational principles of instructional design for online learning.
