Russell Sage College Entry Level DPT Program
Exceptionally prepared women entering Russell Sage from high school or transferring in from another college select an undergraduate major. Students complete requirements for the major, RSC general education courses, and DPT program prerequisites (Anatomy & Physiology I & II; Physics I & II; Chemistry I & II; Cell Biology; Human Development; Intro to Psychology; and Statistics) during their first three years of study. Qualified students who meet DPT program GPA requirements (3.0 overall and 3.0 in science prerequisites) accelerate into the DPT graduate courses in their fourth year and complete their bachelor's degree. Students complete two more graduate academic years, and earn their Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.
Women entering Russell Sage from high school or transferring from another undergraduate institution may complete a bachelor's degree in an undergraduate major along with the DPT program prerequisites (Anatomy & Physiology I & II; Physics I & II; Chemistry I & II; Cell Biology; Human Development; Intro to Psychology; and Statistics). Qualified students who meet the DPT program GPA requirements (3.0 overall and 3.0 in science prerequisites) will enter into the graduate DPT program the summer following their fourth year.
