Faculty | Ed McAllister

Professor McAllister holds a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. from the University at Albany. He is a licensed Psychologist and certified School Psychologist in the State of New York. He has completed post doctoral study in both Counseling and Business. Professor McAllister has published papers in the Journal of Experimental Psychology, Bulletin of the Psychonomic Society, Journal of Psychology and Theology, Adolescence, Journal of Psychology and Christianity, Journal of Family Therapy, and the International Journal of Management. He teaches Statistics and Senior Seminar on the undergraduate level and graduate courses in Counseling, Group Counseling, Family Counseling, and Psychological Assessment.

Professor McAllister's professional interests are in the areas of the integration of theology and counseling theory and practice, the expectations of life events through the life span, and frameworks for studying persons and their life histories.
