BS in Psychology at Sage College of Albany

Ready to complete a bachelor's degree in psychology?

Most students who apply to the Sage After Work (SAW) program in Psychology will have completed core and introductory level courses which are captured as transfer credits. The Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology will build on these fundamental requirements. Academic advisers will provide a personalized plan to meet your needs and help you schedule an appropriate course sequence for a full academic year if you wish.

Flexible Scheduling for People with Full-time Lives

Classes are offered year-round and students can begin at any time. Programs are offered in the evenings and on weekends, and seven-week long modules in many programs provide additional flexibility and lifestyle compatibility. Reduced seat-time class formats utilize online components that allow students to spend less time on campus -- without sacrificing the faculty support that helps students achieve their degrees.

Sage After Work courses are taught by full-time Sage faculty and by adjunct professors who are practitioners in their fields and leaders in the community.

Sage After Work is:

  • A degree completion program. Students enter with a minimum of 40 credits or an associate degree.
  • An attractive choice for students transferring from community colleges who need to work while completing their education.
  • A flexible learning environment. SAW's continuous schedule and variable class formats reduce classroom time but provide more educational support than online-only programs.

A perfect fit for nontraditional students. The program’s evening, weekend, and online classes serve adults with work and family responsibilities.
