Accelerated 3+3 BS in Health Sciences Leading to the DPT in Physical Therapy

 

The sequence listed below begins with the courses freshman Health Sciences majors should take. *Please note: the courses with an asterisk can be taken in either the fall or spring semesters. In the event that a course you choose is closed you can modify your sequence by substituting one of the courses with an asterisk.

Courses that are highlighted meet the graduate PT Program course prerequisites.

To accelerate into the graduate PT Program in the fourth year, students must earn a minimum 3.0 GPA overall and in the sciences, complete the ten PT Program prerequisite courses with no less than a "C", and have completed all college major, general education and PT Program prerequisites by the end of the third year of coursework.

4th Year: Accelerating students progress to first year graduate PT courses taken in the Summer and Fall semester. Total minimum credits required for a BS degree is 120.
