Travel to Mexico
Students my experience Mexico in two different ways:
Study Abroad in Mexico for the Fall Semester with the Border Studies Program
"The Border Studies Program is situated on the U.S.-Mexico international border and based in the metropolitan area of El Paso, Texas and Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, where the complexities of the borderlands are most apparent. The program engages students in some of the world's most pressing political, social and economic challenges. This region is the subject of extensive global debate on such hotly contested issues as immigration, free trade, labor, the environment, human rights, and the consequences of globalization. How these issues are negotiated will have a profound impact on our future."

Another option is to study on a short-term travel experience headed by Maureen Casey with the New York State Labor Religion Coalition. This experience provides you with study on border issues focused on labor, gender, globalization, NAFTA, culture, community and religion. There are opportunities for this experience in October/November, February and June. Contact Maureen Casey for more information: 518-272-8275
