Bachelor's Program in Mathematics

The goal of this program is to prepare students for a variety of options. Upon successful completion of the mathematics program, a student will be well-positioned to enter a graduate program in mathematics, or to enter the workforce. The program is specifically designed to focus on the applications of mathematics, while providing the necessary theoretical background.

It all adds up: Studying Mathematics is the path to exciting and groundbreaking 21st century careers.

 

Math forms the foundation for a variety of emerging and rapidly expanding fields. To do computer animation, for example, you must have knowledge of fundamental math concepts, and have in-depth knowledge in statistics, algebra, and geometry.

 

With a degree in Mathematics from Sage, you will be prepared for any number of leading-edge and traditional careers. When you study math at Sage, your opportunities will multiply.

  • Teaching math in any grade level you choose--or, with an advanced degree, at a college or university.
  • Becoming an airplane pilot, architect, astronomer, space traveler, video game creator, businessperson or stock market investor—all careers that require a solid background in math.
  • Pursuing a career as an engineer in any number of specialty fields. 
  • Wherever you go and whatever you do, you’ll be in demand for your knowledge, expertise and rigorous preparation in mathematics and liberal arts .

 

What you’ll earn…

Mathematicians can earn from $40,000 a year to more than $115,000 a year depending upon setting and nature of work.

 

K-12 teachers can earn from $39,000 to more than $68,000.
