Dr. Carol DiMambro
Carol DiMambro, Ph.D.
Associate Professor of Criminal Justice
Professor DiMambro is a full-time, tenured faculty member and has been employed at The Sage Colleges for over twenty years. She has her Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from University at Albany (2007). She has also earned her Masters in Business and Policy Studies (1993), Masters in Criminal Justice (1982), and her Bachelors in Accounting (1979).
She served as the Director of Sage-Online for five years and is currently the Coordinator for Credit for Prior Learning.
Professor DiMambro is a New York State trained mediator and participates in PINS mediations in Saratoga, Washington, and Warren counties. She is involved in jail ministry through Upstate Jail Ministries.
Her main areas of interest include corrections and restorative justice (including victim-offender mediation). She teaches Criminal Justice Functions & Processes, Penology, Policing, topics courses including Cybercrime, Drugs & Crime, Violent Crime, and Restorative Justice, as well as Senior Seminar. She teaches primarily online in the Sage After Work (SAW) Crime & Justice Policy program.
