Graduate Options at Sage Graduate School

Students in Sociology may go on to graduate work in a wide variety of areas including: Law, MSW, Masters in Sociology, Ph.D.

Women entering Russell Sage College as freshmen or transfer students may be eligible for the 3+3 or 4+3 bachelor degree leading to the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in Sage Graduate School. Acceptance to either of these programs along with successful completion of major, general education, and DPT prerequisite requirements, allows for a seamless transition and guaranteed admission into the DPT program for qualified students. Students who intend to enter the professional Physical Therapy program may complete the BA in Sociology leading to the M.S. in Occupational Therapy.

Students in Criminal Justice may go on to graduate work in Law, Masters in Criminal Justice, Ph.D.

Many graduates of the criminal justice program move directly into entry-level positions as professionals in the criminal justice system; others choose law school or further study in a range of masters and doctoral degree programs. In recent years, Sage graduates have accepted positions with the U.S. Marshals and the Internal Revenue Service, as well as with state and local law enforcement agencies, judicial offices, correctional facilities, and victim services.
