What is the Fine Arts Scholarship for Study Abroad?
The Sage Fine Arts Scholarship for Study Abroad is for a tuition-paid semester at PARSONSPARIS School of Design, Paris, France during the fall semester.
Who is eligible to participate?
Any second-semester Visual Arts major freshman that entered Sage College of Albany in the fall of 2004.
The student must have carried a full 15-credit hour load for both the fall and springĀ semesters in their freshman year.
The student must have a 3.3 or higher GPA with no Incomplete (I), Withdrawn (W), or Failed (F) grades.
Students must submit a portfolio to be judged by an outside judge.
What type of art and how much can be submitted for judging?
Only work begun and completed during the fall and/or spring semesters may be submitted. No High School work is eligible!
Five pieces of personal choice in any medium.
Five drawings (any medium or media).
Five design works (any combination of 2- or 3-dimensions).
All work must be matted.
No more than a total of 15 pieces may be submitted.
