Professor Harold Lohner's solo exhibition in Astoria, Oregon

October 3rd, 2008

Lohner will also be doing a demonstration on campus of his monoprint technique and visiting other studio classes. The show and campus visit are the result of Lohner's work being included in "Au Naturel: The Nude in the 21st Century", an international juried exhibition held earlier this year at Clatsop.

Monotypes and monoprints are one-of-a-kind prints that are made by inking and drawing on a blank plate, which is then printed onto paper. Lohner's prints of male portraits and figures feature a subtractive drawing technique with layered colors and patterns.
