Kent Mikalson and students Make a Difference

Kent Mikalsen with Interior Design students in front of their entries for the National Make a Difference Project sponsored by the Interior Design Educators Council Social Justice Network. Students were asked to find a real life problem in the community that could be made better through design, then to present a small, meaningful design solution.
The problem consisted of a description of the problem, the proposed solution and the expected results. Students utilized the skills that they have learned in their design classes to present their proposals. A simple idea but potentially profound.
