Sage Students to Attend 2009 National Student Portfolio Review

Sage College of Albany, Department of Graphic Design is pleased to announce graduating seniors Michael Rivette and Sindey Hoang, have been selected to attend the 2009 National Student Portfolio Review at the Art Directors Club of New York (ADC) in May.
Rivette and Hoang were nominated by selected faculty members for their outstanding portfolios. According to ADC the event is by invitation only and is limited to 100 of the most promising graduating seniors in graphic design. The invite ranks Sage among nationally recognized art programs such as Pratt Institute, Parsons School of Design, and Rhode Island School of Design.
In attendance will be creative professionals in advertising, design, and communications. Students benefit from encouragement, feedback, and job offers from the foremost art directors, creative directors, and designers and creative recruiters in the NYC area. Present last year were distinguished companies including Hallmark, Saachi & Saachi, and Radical Media to name only a few. The reviewers who attend are treated to a sample of the best new talent in the industry and often hire graduates.
