Alumnae/i Admission Program
AAP is an Opportunity for you, a Sage graduate,to make significant contributions to your Alma Mater by committing some:

to activities that engage prospective students and engender interest in, application to and enrollment at The Sage Colleges.
REFER A STUDENT TO SAGE
If you know of a college-bound student you think would be a good fit for either Russell Sage College (women only) or Sage College of Albany (co-ed), just fill out a referral form and send it in. If the student applies, the application fee is waved; if accepted, and enrolled s/he will receive an Alumna/Alumnus Referral Award valued at $500 per year. The award is renewable for three additional years for first-time students and two additional years for transfer students, provided the student remains in good academic standing and maintains full-time status. Maximum award for four years is $2,000.

BE A PANELIST OR SPEAKER FOR CAMPUS EVENTS
We are always looking for alumnae/i to share their voices with prospective Sage students as speakers and panelists at our open houses, scholarship days, and other campus events. (FYI, many of these events take place during the work week at the campus). This is a great way to visit your alma mater and share your stories and experiences.
CONTACT LOCAL PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS
We know that high school students have a vast number of questions about college, and we know that as an alum you have the knowledge and experience of Sage to share. So we ask that you serve as a resource for prospective students through e-mail exchanges and/or phone calls. We endeavor to make local pairings to facilitate the connection and find that students often consider alums a valuable resource during the application process and as Sage students.
REPRESENT SAGE AT COLLEGE FAIRS IN YOUR AREA
Alumnae/i are invited to attend college fairs throughout the country. It is an excellent time to speak with prospective students about Sage and to share your experiences, your successes and the benefits of attending your alma materto spread the word about Sage in your region. When you choose to participate, you will be contacted in advance about fairs in your hometown area, training will be available and all materials will be provided.
BE A RUSSELL SAGE COLLEGE STUDENT SAGE AWARD LIAISON
The Student Sage Award is a recognition program that invites secondary schools to nominate an outstanding junior who embodies the college motto To Be, To Know, To Do. If the student subsequently enrolls at Russell Sage College she is eligible to receive a scholarship ranging from $7,000 to $16,000. Student Sage Award Liaisons are alumnae living in the vicinity of the nominees who may present the scholarship nomination at the high school awards ceremony and maintain contact with the student throughout the application and admission processes,throughout the student's studies at Russell Sage and beyond if they choose.
BE A SAGE COLLEGE OF ALBANY SAGEARTS AWARD LIAISON
This is a recognition program that invites secondary schools to nominate an outstanding junior who demonstrates superior artistic talent, academic success and leadership skills. If the student subsequently enrolls at Sage College of Albany, s/he is eligible to receive a scholarship ranging from $3,000 to $11,000. The alumni who serve as SageArts Liaisons often present the scholarship nomination at the high school awards ceremony and maintain contact with the student throughout the application and admission processes.
REMEMBER THE SAGE COLLEGES LEGACY AWARD
This award of $1,000 a semester is given on an annual basis to full-time, first-year or transfer students whose parent or grandparent graduated from one of The Sage Colleges. It can be combined with other awards and is renewable for up to three additional years provided the student maintains a minimum GPA of 3.0 and full-time status. The maximum total award per student is $8,000.
