This page provides information on the many resources available to you as a member of the Sage alumni community. Graduates of the Sage Graduate Schools automatically become alumni upon completion of their degree.
To access your benefits, alumni must obtain an alumni card, which verifies status as a graduate. Click here to apply for a free alumni card. The alumni benefits available to you are listed below.
Alumni of Russell Sage College, Sage College of Albany (formerly Sage JCA), and the School of Professional & Continuing Education (formerly Sage After Work or Sage Evening College) are eligible for a 10 percent discount off the first six credit hours at the Sage Graduate Schools, as well as an application fee waiver.
Alumni Legacy Scholarships
The Sage Colleges Alumnae/Alumni Award is valued at $1,000 a year, is given to first-time, full-time freshmen or transfer students (accepted to Russell Sage College or Sage College of Albany) whose parents or grandparents graduated from one of The Sage Colleges. This award is renewable for up to three additional years provided the student remains in good academic standing and maintains full-time status. (Total possible award is $4,000).
Recreation and Fitness Facilities
All the facilities listed below regardless of which campus they are located on, are available for use by all Sage Colleges alumni for an annual fee of $100. For more information, contact the Recreation Department at 518-244-2416.

- Structured recreation opportunities are offered on both campuses and may include Zumba, Yoga, Karate Fitness, Bootcamp, circuit training and many more, all taught by certified instructors.
*Please note that all facilities have limited hours during breaks and are closed on days that The Sage Colleges are closed.

The Sage Colleges is committed to serving its alumnae through a variety of career development services. Graduates are welcome at the two Career Planning offices - on the third floor in the Shea Learning Center on the Troy Campus and on the third floor of the library in Albany. Alumnae can receive assistance with their resume, cover letter, statement of purpose, networking, interviewing skills, job search, graduate school applications, personality/interest assessments of career fit, and other career guidance surrounding career/job change and re-entering the workforce. Full-time and part-time employment leads are always available, and alumnae can review and apply for current job, internship, and volunteer opportunities via SAGELink.
Alumnae can access career information through the Career Planning website, which will continue to be updated in an effort improve the resources available to its constituencies. Links to career sites and employment opportunities, career handbooks (on resume writing, cover letter writing, interviewing, networking and more) as well as information on how to research employers, salary information, cost of living comparisons, and relocation information are available on-line. Regular updates with information about job leads and career-related information are also shared via Facebook (Sage Office of Career Planning) and Twitter (@SageCareer).
Alumnae can also volunteer to participate in programs such as job shadowing, internships and career panels. They can also recruit on campus, post jobs, offer internships, and participate in the annual Career Fairs as an employer. Career Planning would also love to hear about your career development and endeavors since graduating from The Sage Colleges, as the Office has begun to highlight alumnae career stories to share with current students and alumnae.

Academic Computing Centers
Alumni have access to the computer labs in Froman Hall on the Albany campus (518-292-1913) and in the lower level of Bush Memorial on the Troy campus (518-244-2352). Contact each lab for hours of operation and information on the technology available, or visit the Sage Computer Centers webpage.
In Troy, the Library is located in the Shea Learning Center at 40 Ferry Street and can be reached by calling 518-244-2249.
In Albany, the library is located at 140 New Scotland Avenue, between Froman Hall and the residence hall. Alumni Access to the Albany Campus Library is possible during all hours of regular operation. To contact the Albany campus library, please call 518-292-1721.
