Theatre Institute at Sage
The Theatre Institute at Sage operates through the Department of Arts and Letters at The Sage Colleges and is dedicated to providing quality live theatre and arts-in-education programming to Capital Region students, teachers and residents and enhancing the education of Sage students by providing performance, technical and teaching opportunities.
Programs include educational support services for Sage productions (such as in-class preparations, teacher in-services and study guides), a Saturday theatre arts school, camps during school breaks, and several theatre camps during the summer for children ages 5-18.
Under the supervision of Department of Arts and Letters chair, Michael Musial, New York State Theatre Institute veterans and Russell Sage Teacher/Artists-in-Residence David Bunce and Sara Melita are responsible for the administration of Theatre Institute programming. Programs are taught by a combination of Sage staff, students and consultants.
