Conflict Mediation
Conflict offers opportunities for growth and development. Recognizing that conflict is a natural part of the human experience, the goal of The Allies Conflict Mediation and Education Center is to provide a neutral space in which members of the Sage community - students, faculty, administrators and staff - can express, work through, and understand conflict with the help of Center-trained mediators. The mediation process is voluntary, informal, confidential and structured. All center-trained mediators have completed a 25-hour mediation-training course conducted by a New York State Certified Mediation Trainer.

The Center also offers members of the community a number of ways to learn about and deal with conflict as a positive force for change, including lectures, videos and workshops on issues of difference, conflict and violence in the school, workplace and community.
