Annual Social Responsibility Fair

Friday, April 3, 2009 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Robison Gym - Troy Campus

The Social Responsibility Fair is an opportunity for students and community members to participate in an interactive forum showcasing issues of social responsibility. These include issues of community relations, ethics, diversity, human rights, the environment, labor and policy compliance. There will be music, displays, fair trade products, sweat-free clothing and student-created presentations. Vendors will have wonderful items for sale - don't forget to bring your money and shop responsibily! Free Ben and Jerry's ice cream for all!

Women of Distinction Dinner

The Women of Distinction Dinner celebrates students leadership and success. New BCC Students for Social Responsibility officers will be introduced.

Social Justice Festival

Thursday, October 15, 2009 from7:00 p.m.- 9:30 p.m.
Location: Bush Memorial

The Artists for Social Justice Concert is an annual variety show held in partnership with the YWCA's Week Without Violence and Take Back the Night march. It includes a variety of performances surrounding the issue of social justice.
