Kyle Blanchfield Event
On Friday, October 11, 2013 the Dawn Lafferty Hochsprung Center for the Promotion of Mental Health and School Safety hosted, Leadership, Violence and School Climate: A Breakfast Keynote and Discussion led by Kyle Blanchfield.
Kyle Blanchfield, J.D., is the President and CEO of the Northern New York Centers for Conflict Resolution and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Education in St. Lawrence University’s Graduate Leadership Program. She is the former President of the New York State Dispute Resolution Association and also a former Justice Court Judge. Her experiences include teaching legal research courses, resolving labor management disputes, mediating between governmental agencies, and establishing a Family Court and Juvenile Court for the Pennsylvania Court System. She is the author of numerous books and articles in leadership, conflict resolution, and the law. In 1995, she won the New York State Distinguished Service Award for her contributions to the fields of leadership, mediation and conciliation. Most recently, with her colleague Dr. Peter Ladd, she published Leadership, Violence and School Climate (2013).
