Troy Farmers Market
The Sage Colleges Nursing Department in partnership with the Troy Farmers' Market
What better place to market health than the Troy Farmers' Market? Since Summer 2009, the Sage Nursing Department has been bringing health education to patrons of the Troy Farmers' Market. Started by Madeline Cafiero, Assistant Professor of Nursing, the market table offers blood pressure screening and education on various health topics every other Saturday. Nursing students and faculty volunteer their time and the market donates the table space. The table provides a unique clinical experience for future nurses and a valuable community service to the Troy community.
