International photo contest

2008 INTERNATIONAL PHOTO CONTEST

Did you take a great photography while in another country? Does your photo tell a story? Submit it as an entry into the International Photography Contest.

Grand Prize: $100.00

First Prize in each categories: $25.00

Contest Categories:

Place: The subject of the photograph must be of a location without people in the setting. Accompanied by a brief statement of the location and why you selected to photograph the subject.

People: The subject of the photograph must be of native people in their own environment. Accompanied by a brief statement of why you selected to photograph the subject(s).

Cultural Diversity: The subject of the photograph must be representative of the cultural and accompanied by a statement of why you selected the subject as a representative of the culture.

Rules:

- Only current students at The Sage Colleges may participate.
- All photos must have been taken outside of the United Sates within the past two years.
- All submitted photos will become property of the Office of Cultural Enrichment and Diversity for use on The Sage College website and in promotional materials regarding studying abroad.
- All submissions must have been photographed specifically by the students entering the contest.
- All photographs must be submitted in JPEG format.
- All photographs may not be digitally enhanced.

Each photo must be submitted on line to the Office of Cultural Enrichment and Diversity (diversity@sage.edu) no later than Monday, November 3, 2008 by 5:00 PM. If you have questions contact the Office of Cultural Enrichment at extension 3110.
