Sage offers many opportunities for students to explore the world through Study Abroad programs. Such international experiences are essential to gaining the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in today's global society, and it is a good feature to add to your resume.

Sage faculty have led short-term Study Abroad trips to:

• England
• France
• Greece
• Italy
• Jamaica
• Puerto Rico
• Spain
• Vietnam

The next short-term study abroad trip is scheduled for May 17 - 31, 2009 in South Africa.

Sage Sponsored Programs and Consortiums

To further expand your horizons, Sage is affiliated with a number of other institutions and organizations to offer a wide variety of study abroad opportunities. Whatever your major, a deeper understanding of another culture and more proficiency in another language can help you better achieve your goals. The Office of Cultural Enrichment and Diversity can help you find a program of study and exploration in another country that is right for you. Below are some of the programs which we are affiliated. Spain

The Sage-sponsored program at the Center for Cross-Cultural Study (CCCS) in Seville, Spain, offers courses in language, literature, history, and the fine arts from the intermediate to the advanced level. Internships may also be arranged, but a semester's advance notice and near fluency in Spanish are required.

China

Sage is partnered with the Shanghai Institute for Foreign Trade (SIFT), a Chinese institute of higher education. The strategic connection has resulted in exchanges of faculty and students to and from China.

University at Albany

Sage is involved in a consortium with the State University of New York at Albany, giving our students access to their Study Abroad programs. They offer summer and short-term programs in a variety of countries, and semester-long programs in even more countries.

Associated New American Colleges

Sage is involved in a national consortium of similar colleges called the Associated New American Colleges (ANAC). Students have the opportunity to participate in selected Study Abroad programs (ANACSA), which have included Greece, China, Senegal, England, Austria, and Norway.

Sage is also affiliated with other institutions stateside and internationally:

• American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS) offers programs in Argentina, Australia, Austria, China, Czech Republic, England, France, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Russia, South Africa, and Spain.
• American Intercontinental University in London or Dubai, which also offers short-term programs in Paris and Florence.
• Webster University in London, Geneva, Hua Hin/Cha-Am (Thailand), Leiden (the Netherlands), Vienna, Guadalajara (Mexico), and Osaka (Japan).
• Universidad Espiritu Santo (Guayaquil, Ecuador)
