Sage Faculty-Led Short Term Programs

Sage faculty periodically lead unique short-term programs to

interesting places, and to foreign countries like France, Great Britain, Italy, Greece, Jamaica, and Puerto Rico.

Vietnam: A Journey of Learning and Reconciliation

Steven A. Leibo, Ph.D., professor of modern international history and politics, leads this program of academic travel with Song Dinh Tran, an educator and veteran of the Vietnam War, and Dr. Edward Tick, specialist on post traumatic stress disorder and author of Sacred Mountain: Encounters with the Vietnam Beast.

Sage Sponsored Programs/Consortiums

Spain

The Sage-sponsored program at the Center for Cross-Cultural Study (CCCS) in Seville, Spain, offers courses in language, literature, history, and the fine arts from the intermediate to the advanced level. Internships may also be arranged, but a semester's advance notice and near fluency in Spanish are required. China

Sage is partnered with the Shanghai Institute for Foreign Trade (SIFT), a Chinese institute of higher education. The strategic connection has resulted in exchanges of faculty and students to and from China. For more information, contact Dr. John Tribble at (518) 292-1749 or tribbj@sage.edu.

University at Albany

Sage is involved in a consortium with the State University of New York at Albany, giving our students access to their Study Abroad programs. They offer summer and short-term programs in a variety of countries, and semester-long programs in even more countries.

Associated New American Colleges

Sage is involved in a national consortium of similar colleges called the Associated New American Colleges (ANAC). Students have the opportunity to participate in selected Study Abroad programs (ANACSA), which have included Greece, China, Senegal, England, Austria, and Norway.
