Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy (Fall 09)

FACULTY POSITION: ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

The Sage Colleges Doctor of Physical Therapy Program invites applicants for an 11 month, full-time faculty position, beginning in September 2009.

The successful candidate will possess an earned post professional doctoral degree (candidates in the dissertation phase will be considered), a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a licensed physical therapist, and be eligible for licensure in New York State. Prior teaching experience in a DPT Program is preferred.

The Sage Colleges, located in the Capital Region of New York State, include Russell Sage College for Women, Sage College of Albany, and Sage Graduate School. New York’s Capital Region, located between the beautiful Adirondack and Catskill Mountains, has a rich cultural and educational environment as well as endless outdoor recreation year round. Boston, Montreal and New York City are within easy access to the Capital Region.

Salary dependent on qualifications and experience; generous benefits package includes tuition waiver for employee and spouse at Sage After Work or Sage Graduate School; tuition waiver for dependent children at Russell Sage College, Sage College of Albany, or Sage After Work.
