The School of Nursing and Health Sciences at The Sage Colleges seeks applicants for the position of Occupational Therapy Program Director and Chairperson. Sage offers an established ACOTE-accredited Master of Science program with a dynamic faculty and consistently strong record of student outcomes. This position is a full-time 12-month faculty appointment with administrative, teaching, service and scholarship responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have possess an earned doctorate in occupational therapy or related field, a minimum of six years of progressively responsible OT experience including at least 2 years full-time in academica, and be eligible for licensure in New York. Applicants must also have a record of excellence in academic administration, as well as strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative leadership style.

OT Department faculty teach students in diverse areas of expertise, are actively engaged in practice and scholarship, participate in college and community activities, and work closely with community agency partners.

Located in the Capital Region of New York State, Sage includes Russell Sage College for Women, and the co-educational Sage College of Albany and Sage Graduate School. The Occupational Therapy Program is offered through Sage Graduate School. The local area has a rich cultural and educational environment as well as endless outdoor recreation year round. The beautiful Adirondack and Catskill Mountains, as well as Boston, Montreal and New York City, are within easy access to the capital region.

Salary dependent on qualifications and experience; generous benefits package includes tuition waiver for employee and spouse at Sage After Work or Sage Graduate School; tuition waiver for dependent children at Russell Sage College, Sage College of Albany, or Sage After Work.
