The Sage Colleges Doctor of Physical Therapy Program invites applicants for a 12 month full time faculty position, beginning in September 2008. The primary responsibilities of this faculty position are as Director of Clinical Education. The Director of Clinical Education (DCE) is a licensed physical therapist with an understanding of contemporary physical therapist practice, quality clinical education, the clinical community, and the health care delivery system. The DCE will develop, conduct, coordinate, and evaluate the clinical education program.
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree; an earned post professional master's or doctoral degree is preferred. The candidate will have a minimum of 3 years clinical experience as a licensed physical therapist, a minimum of 3 years of clinical teaching and/or clinical coordination experience and be eligible for licensure in New York State.
Salary and rank dependent on qualifications and experience; generous benefits package includes tuition waiver for employee and spouse at Sage After Work or Sage Graduate School; tuition waiver for dependent children at Russell Sage College, Sage College of Albany, or Sage After Work.
