Interior Design Faculty Position

The Sage Colleges is looking for a full-time faculty member to serve as Coordinator of our NASAD accredited B.F.A. Interior Design program. This is a continuing appointment.
Description
The successful candidate will coordinate the Interior Design Program and teach Interior Design studio courses that integrate the principle of sustainable design while using current industry software to produce drawings and presentations.
Coordinator responsibilities include: scheduling classes, faculty assignments, preparing budget requests, curriculum design and general leadership of the Interior Design program. Other responsibilities include advising and recruiting students, serving on college committees, and possibly serving as faculty advisor for an A.S.I.D. or N.K.B.A. student group.
Applicants, who are N.C.I.D.Q. certified, have professional work and/or teaching experience, with an M.A., M.F.A. or Ph.D., will be given priority consideration. Professional membership in A.S.I.D., I.I.D.A., I.D.E.C. and/or A.I.A. is desirable. Administrative experience is essential.
