The Department of Nursing at The Sage Colleges and St. Peters’ Health Care System invites applicants to apply for a full-time joint faculty/clinical research position during the 08-09 academic year. The successful candidate will be expected to teach, collaborate and work with Sage and St. Peter’s in developing and conducting nursing and interdisciplinary research, and coordinate an existing online nursing education project.
Responsibilities also include joint academic and clinical meetings and establishing collaborative research partnerships.
The successful candidate will possess an earned doctorate in Nursing or a related field with successful experience in graduate teaching and oversight of research. Other expectations include an active program of research, and ability to secure external grants. Current NYS nursing license required at the time of employment.

The successful candidate will be involved in shaping the nursing research infrastructure. This individual will work closely with advanced practice nurses providing resources to effectively engage staff nurses in nursing research and implementing evidence based practice.
Salary dependent on qualifications and experience; generous benefits package includes tuition waiver for employee and spouse at Sage After Work or Sage Graduate School; tuition waiver for dependent children at Russell Sage College, Sage College of Albany, or Sage After Work.
