Internet materials in a paper
- Remember that anyone can set up a homepage and put material up on the
Internet. As a result, you should be wary of the information you find. Make sure
that your source is reliable (afterall, you wouldn't cite material from the
National Enquirer, would you?). Know your source. If the person hasn't
signed the page and doesn't provide an e-mail link, beware. If the page hasn't
been updated since December of 1993, beware. Here is a good, short
article that will help you separate what is good on the Internet from what
is not.
