Corporate Connection
Scholarship Program
2006/2007
The mission of the Corporate Connection Scholarship Program is to provide financial assistance to students approaching their final year of study in the form of a one-year, $1,000, $1,500 or $2,500 scholarship. To be eligible, a student must be enrolled on a full time basis, be able to demonstrate need, have maintained a B average in their field of study and be from the Capital or Hudson Valley Regions. (Qualifying counties: Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Columbia, Montgomery, Schoharie, Warren)
The Corporate Connection Scholarship Program is run by a group of business leaders from the Capital Region. Like the program's sponsors, these individuals represent a variety of different types of organizations from our local community, including banks, law offices, insurance companies, and engineering and construction firms. A large percentage of Sage graduates seek employment in the Capital Region and will soon be looking toward our sponsoring organizations for career opportunities.

Challenge grants are pledged at the beginning of the program year and help gather support from other companies. These grants are contingent upon collecting an equivalent amount in donations from other businesses.
