1,000 over $1,000
Your contribution of $1,000 or more to the Sage Fund for Excellence in Education, the new name for Sage's annual fund, will enhance the educational experience of young women of influence at Sage.
Invest in Sage's Future
The 1,000 over $1,000 campaign will strengthen the leadership component of annual giving-- the lifeblood of Sage's giving programs. The Fund provides money scholarships and financial aid; funds improvements to computer technology, labs, and other learning facilities; and provides research opportunities and applied learning experiences in the community.
Meet a Woman of Influence
Nancy Sothern Mueller '65 is a former French House resident and chemistry major who founded Nancy's Specialty Foods, the largest maker of frozen quiche products in the world. She has been selected as chair of the 1,000 over $1,000 campaign.
"The 1,000 over $1,000 initiative will bring together alumnae who care deeply about the college and who can help Sage leverage additional support," Mueller says. The goal of the campaign is to welcome more alumnae into the President's Club, and brings its prestigious membership to 1,000 dedicated donors who give $1,000 or more annually in unrestricted funds.
Participants at the $1,000 level become members of the Sage President's Club, and are invited to the Annual Donor Dinner, hosted by President Jeanne Neff and the Board of Trustees. President's Club members are recognized at alumnae events including the Reunion Annual Meeting, are acknowledged in the annual Horizons magazine, and receive a commemorative Sage gift, as well as the President's Insider letter.
