Nursing Faculty Positions

The Department of Nursing at The Sage Colleges invites dynamic candidates to apply for one of three faculty positions, beginning in the fall of 2014.

These positions require current research, teaching and content expertise in one of the following roles:

(a)   Doctor of Nursing Practice and National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (full-time)

(b)   Nationally certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (full-time)

(c)   National FNP Certification with administrative experience to serve as Director of a robust graduate nursing program (half-time)

Qualifications are position dependent, but preference will be given to : (a) candidates with a minimum of a Doctoral degree in Nursing or a health-related field of study; and (b) Research, Teaching and Clinical experience with national certification as a family or psychiatric nurse practitioner.

Additional responsibilities may vary but include: Program development, teaching, student advisement and recruitment; college and community service; and regional, state, national or global health collaboration.
